Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Key-frame illustration of Spider-Man wearing the symbiote suit and fighting Kraven the Hunter. At this point, the symbiote has affected Peter's mind and his fighting style is much more brutal and ruthless.
It was a challenging piece but had a blast working on this and I did several sketches so it was a lot of back and forth between me and the art director before we landed on this one. My biggest challenge on this one was to sculpt the characters in zbrush based on a concepts designs from Daryl Mandryk and I really wanted to stay true to the concepts he made. Please check out his work for the project he is true master in his craft.
